Plista: DevOps Engineer (m/f/x)
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer (m/f) to join our team.
You will work in an essential area of our company and will get hands on a top-notch infrastructure. You take on your own area of responsibility and work closely with developers and external providers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
-Help us to create a dynamic, cloud-agnostic environment for our high-load Projects
-Design and develop reusable components and operational strategies in the cloud
-Set up and maintain platforms and services to support our multi-region infrastructure
-Collaborate with developers in cross-functional teams to build and roll out new applications
-Troubleshoot and address performance and availability issues
-Participate in paid on-call Rotation
YOUR PROFILE
-At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps/Systems Engineer
-Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership on tasks and challenges
-High motivation and willingness to learn
-Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
-Significant experience in all of the following: Cloud architecture, Networking, Linux servers, script writing, the building and deployment of automation tools, DB Management
-Experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet or Ansible
-Familiarity or Experience with containers deployment using Kubernetes
-Previous experience operating AWS cloud infrastructure (AWS certification is a plus)
-Experience with Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform and Puppet, backed by Gitlab Pipelines)
-Experience with automated deployment in large scale production Environment
-Good knowledge of web stacks (we use Linux Ubuntu, NGINX, PHP-FPM, MySQL, Redis)
-Experience with at least two of these data messaging streams: Kafka, Flume, Kinesis, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ
-Bonus if hands-on knowledge of: SMACK stack, Graylog, Graphite/Grafana, CDN, HAProxy, Varnish, MongoDB
-Confident with at least one scripting/programming language
-Very good English language skills
